Online Counselling & Performance Coaching
When the way you cope starts working against you.
You might be capable of managing a lot, yet find yourself caught in self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties or patterns that are hard to change.
At Becoming On Point, I help you understand what's driving these responses and find more effective ways of navigating them, in your personal life, relationships and work.

What’s driving the pattern?
When the same strategies for coping become a source of difficulties.
Replaying past conversations, doubting your decisions, taking too much responsibility, or finding it hard to relax when there is nothing to resolve at the moment.
Sometimes, such behaviour allows us to feel prepared, competent, or in control. Sometimes, it causes us to become tired, affects our relationships, or makes it hard to respond from the point of view of our values.
Sometimes the issue is not about coping with stress but knowing why this response persists.
Throughout our sessions, we uncover the beliefs, expectations, and experiences that may have an impact on your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
It could be:
Feelings of being responsible for other people’s reactions and expectations.
Difficulty in tolerating uncertainty, mistakes, or failure.
Evaluation of oneself based on achievements, approvals, or neediness.
Constant explanations of one’s actions, searching for reassurance and justification of one’s decisions.
Inability to relax, delegate responsibilities, or know when to stop.
Frustration with one’s own emotions despite the logic of the situation.
The goal is not to get rid of the qualities that helped you to overcome certain challenges or succeeded so far. The goal is to learn when they work for you and when they don’t.

Australia | Adults 18+
Counselling offers space to explore what you're experiencing, the patterns that may be contributing to it, and how you'd like to move forward.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, relationship difficulties, burnout and trauma-related patterns.
Our work considers your experiences, beliefs and relationships, alongside practical approaches that can support greater emotional awareness, flexibility and change.
Performance & Mindset Coaching
Australia & International | Adults 18+
For professionals, founders, leaders, athletes and others navigating demanding environments, performance isn't always about doing more.
Coaching explores how your expectations, beliefs and habitual responses influence the way you make decisions, manage pressure, relate to others and pursue your goals.
We work towards more deliberate choices, a healthier relationship with performance and approaches that remain useful beyond the immediate challenge.
Sessions are held online, giving you access to professional support wherever you're based.
Counselling is available to adults located in Australia, while Performance & Mindset Coaching is available to clients internationally, subject to suitability and applicable local requirements.
Sessions offer a confidential space to explore your concerns, understand your responses and work towards changes that matter to you.

Meet Gabrielle-Beth
I am Gabrielle-Beth Volovsky, a Certified Practising Counsellor from PACFA, who holds a master’s degree in Psychotherapy & Counselling, and founder of Becoming On Point.
My approach is founded on an awareness of the individual that goes deeper than their problems. In particular, I am fascinated with how our experience, belief systems and relationships shape our responses to ourselves, others, and the world around us.
This involves bringing psychology, solutions and an honest curiosity into the process of making sense of our patterns and possibilities for change.
